25 April - 5 May

DAY 1-2
Haridwar exploration & Ganga Arati

Enjoy the first warm, family-style dinner to close the evening. The next day, explore Haridwar’s sacred sites — Anandamayi Ma Ashram, the main Arti ghat of North India, the Sati Temple where she immolated herself, and Mansa Devi Temple (a Shakti Peeth, said to be where Sati’s Heart fell) — along with many other holy places. Participate in the morning prayers and begin introductory sessions on Sanatana Dharma.
Three young men in traditional attire carrying lit clay lamps shaped like pyramids during a nighttime cultural or religious ceremony, with smoke and a dark sky in the background.

DAY 3
Journey to Harshil

On the way, we visit Uttarkashi, where we step into the main ashram of Anandamayi Ma with Kali Ma deity. Here, we have the rare blessing of hearing stories about her life directly from a living close disciple, who shares his personal moments and interactions with Ma. The journey deepens as we take a dip in the sacred Ganga at the very spot where Ma herself once bathed.
Statue of an Indian Sage or Guru standing on a stone platform in front of an ancient Indian city gate, with birds flying in the background.

DAY 4
Nature & Temple Visits

In the quiet Harsil Valley, nature itself invites us to turn inward. Among the apple orchards and snow-capped peaks stands the ancient Markandeya Temple. Here, the great sage entered into deep meditation and received the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra — the mantra of healing, of conquering death.

From the valley we rise to Lama Top, where lamas once sat in silence, absorbed in prayer. Here, under the Himalayan sky, you feel the unity of paths — Hindu and Buddhist, East and West, all pointing to the same Divine truth.

A man dressed in orange robes sitting with his head bowed on a balcony during sunset, with a hillside and old buildings in the background.

DAY 5
Gangnani hot springs & Shiva shrine

This day is about preparing the heart for silence. We take japa walks, we do our rituals, and we listen to talks of Swami Aniruddha about the true meaning of life — why we are here, and how silence and meditation can help us discover God inside of us. We also go to Gangnani, where the hot springs and the Shiva shrine remind us of the Lord’s purifying presence. Everything is preparing us to go deeper — so that when silence comes, we are ready to meet Him fully.

A traditional temple with domed roofs and steps leading up to it, set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains and a clear sky.

DAY 6
Silent Immersion

A day of silence is about listening more deeply. This is when the heart begins to speak. When we eat in silence, every bite becomes an offering, every taste a reminder of the Divine presence within creation. Gratitude naturally awakens. We will also read scriptures and journal to create a dialogue with the soul. In this way, silence is not emptiness. It is fullness — the fullness of God’s presence, waiting to be felt.

Snow-capped mountains with dark silhouettes of the foreground, including some structures and trees, three birds flying in the sky.

DAY 7
Harsil Valley

The next day in Harsil, we visit Nukku Mata Temple, a sacred spot located in the valley. Surrounded by wild nature, we take slow walks through the jungles, then gather for a sacred fire ceremony at the riverside. The day continues with inspiring lectures from Swamiji on the powerful wisdom of Sanatana Dharma.

A woman in orange clothing performs a religious ritual, holding a conch shell near her mouth, with a black and gold deity statue nearby.

DAY 8
Trek to Gangotri

This is our last day in the valley. Now we go higher into the Himalayas. We will live simply, in tents, surrounded by the wild nature and the stars above us. On the way, God may send us saints and sadhus, to remind us of His presence. And we walk to the very source of Mother Ganga — to feel where purity itself is born, where heaven touches the earth.

DAY 9-11
Journey to Gaumukh

From Gangotri the trail follows the Bhagirathi river, winding through pine and stone until Gaumukh appears — the glacier’s mouth, where Mother Ganga is born. To stand here is to touch eternity: the same holy source where sages bowed, where saints drew strength, and where the immortal Mahavatar Babaji is said to wander in silence. The air carries a blessing that awakens devotion in every heart.

Two hikers with backpacks walking near a stream at the base of tall snow-covered mountains with a crescent moon visible in the sky.

DAY 11-14
The Peak of Himalayas

Beyond Gaumukh the path climbs higher, opening into Tapovan — a vast meadow of light beneath the towering Shivling peak. Here, yogis performed tapasya for ages untold, their presence still felt in the stillness. The silence is so complete it seems the mountains themselves are meditating. At Tapovan one tastes the meeting of earth and sky, body and spirit. Returning to Gangotri, the outer journey ends, but the inner pilgrimage has only begun.

Snow-capped mountains at sunrise with a forest in the foreground.

DAY 14-16
The Spirit of Gangotri

In Gangotri, the sacred source of the Ganga, we are blessed to meet Lalita Mata, a living saint whose presence radiates pure prem, and to hear her story. We join prayers by the river, visit ancient temples, and feel the timeless power of the mountains that cradle the goddess Ganga.

Three blackened traditional stovetop kettles on a small outdoor gas stove with logs burning underneath, steam rising from the kettles, and a blurred background of a rustic kitchen setting.

We finish 2nd part of the pilgrimage. Journey continues↓

DAY 16-17
Badrinath & Vishnu‑pāda shrine

Along the way we stop at Joshimath, where in winter the Lord resides in the Narasimha Temple — reminding us that Vishnu’s presence is never bound by place or season. Pilgrims bow here, feeling the strength of the half-lion Narasimha protecting the path.

Further on, Alaknanda merging with her sister rivers here. At last, nestled between the snow peaks of Nar and Narayana, we arrive at Badrinath, the eternal seat of Lord Vishnu. Here, for ages beyond memory, sages, yogis, and seekers have come to bow. The air is thin, yet charged with so much Grace. One feels not as a visitor, but as if returning home — to the heart of God.

A mountain village with houses built on a hill along a river, surrounded by snow-capped mountains under a blue sky with clouds.

DAY 17-20
Badrinath & Vishnu‑pāda shrine

In Badrinath, we will join a private Arti at the sacred main temple, soaking in its divine atmosphere. Our pilgrimage continues with a japa walk to the majestic Vasudhara Waterfalls, followed by a visit to Mana — the last village before the Himalayas, where life still flows in its traditional way. We also step into the ancient Ganesha Gufa and Vedavyasa Gufa, caves tied to the timeless stories of the Mahabharata.

Colorful, ornate temple facade with intricate architectural details and people gathered at the entrance under a clear blue sky.

DAY 21
Journey to Rishikesh

On our way to Rishikesh, we pause at Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi join to give birth to the sacred Ganga. Further along, we visit Dhari Devi Temple, standing in the middle of the river and known as the guardian goddess of the Himalayas, protector against natural disasters. The journey unfolds through breathtaking mountain landscapes, offering views that feel once in a lifetime.
