  • Tent

Experience life in the jungle canopy, sleeping under canvas on a bamboo platform that seems to float amid the tops of the mahogany trees. Our Mahogany Tents are glamping at its highest — literally and figuratively. Each comes with an air-conditioned, pod-like queen-size bed draped with soft mosquito netting, a small seating/dining area, and views to sigh for over the verdant Ayung River valley. Each tent has a separate pod holding a private, open-air bathroom with a rain shower, sink, and Japanese toilet. The tents are the epitome of romance, immersing lovers, adventurers, and dreamers in the magic of Bali.

  • Moon

The extraordinary, crescent-shaped Moon House has become world-renowned for its visionary design and architecture. Created by Ibuku, the design firm founded by John’s daughter Elora, it is a giant copper-and-bamboo cocoon seemingly hewn from the jungle. The centerpiece of the house is a huge, impossibly romantic bed draped in fabric and magically cooled with AC. Laze on netting suspended over the private pool and soak in the unobstructed view of the sun setting over the Ayung River and the rice fields. Later on, moon-bathe in complete seclusion in an enchanting copper bathtub. Moon House is a home without walls for anyone who wants to commune with nature — without compromising on comfort.

  • Tree House

Scrupulously designed - breathtaking Tree House, one of Bambu Indah’s signature accommodations, nestled high up in the branches of two bunut trees overlooking the tropical valley. Built from bamboo, with a sensuously curved copper roof, the structure is shaped like an enormous basket, with the floors curling up to become low sloping walls that cradle the open-air interior, cooled by natural breezes and AC . The two large living pods cocoon a decadent queen-size bed draped in mosquito nets, a magnificent dressing room, a cozy bar area, and a sleek bathroom with hanging bamboo trays and copper basins perched on an undulating bamboo countertop. A second queen bed is in a separate loft area, up a set of stairs. Serenaded by the geckos’ calls and the rushing Ayung River far below, you’ll sleep soundly and awaken to panoramic views of Mount Batukaru and far-off rice paddies glistening in the morning sun.

The spiral staircase reaching the Tree House is narrow, so we ask guests to bring a second, smaller bag for use during their stay; we will store larger suitcases safely until your departure.
